The interior decoration is characterized by fabulous original pieces, all made to measure, following the designs of the owner, by master craftsmen. The fabrics used for the upholstery; the curtains, bedcovers and cushions, have all been made following exclusive designs.
There is a clever marriage of modern furnishings and rare examples of Chinese and European antiques, part of the owner's private collection. The eight buildings of the Borgo have been restored with the same vision, resulting in 72 rooms (of which 7 junior suite, 13 suite and 2 presidential suite) all linked by the same chromatic theme of red and yellow and by the uniqueness of the furnishings.

All the rooms have magnificent views over the splendid Tuscan countryside and the distant townscape of Siena. For those guests looking for something truly unique, there is the fabulous Chinese room with antique four poster bed fit for an emperor, the impressive two level Presidential suites with views over the pastures where the deer roam free, and the highly original "Honeymoon" suite which, as well as the precious antique lace work, offers the experience of taking a bath... in a cave.
